What is a Strong Class and how long does one class last?
STRONG Pilates classes are 45-minute group fitness sessions that are Pilates reformer inspired, cardio infused strength training. Whatever athletic background you’re from, you’re sure to find your first STRONG workout challenging and rewarding. Each day of the week has a different focus, but whichever class you choose will leave you feeling like you’ve got an efficient full body workout. Most classes involve a combination of cardio (on the rower or the bike), Pilates (resistance training), and weight training (progressive overload).
Would you say that your classes are for any level of experience/fitness?
STRONG classes are challenging for people of all backgrounds. The best part about our classes is that there’s always something to work towards! While you are more than welcome to try a class and take it at your own pace, it is not recommended for inactive people with minimal fitness experience.
How many times a week should you attend to benefit from the classes?
That depends on your current fitness level and what other activities are in your exercise regimen. With consistency, you will soon start to notice increased overall strength and muscle definition. You will likely notice more abdominal strength as one of the first benefits of attending STRONG classes.
